It means that you can access both buddy lists at the same time... I link my screennames so that since i have different people on both lists i can talk to everyone at the same time and i dont have to tell everyone both of my sns.. hope i helped :)

It means that you add another screen name(s) to your screen name so when you sign on, multiple screen names sign on with you! Hope I helped :)

well it means like if you have more then one screen name you could put like two of your screen names on your list instead of one. oh yeah.... like one buddy list window i think more then two screen names can be linked not sure...
