And its causing my legs to hurt in pain. Ive been exerising for two days at the same place. I cant walk properly without having some kind of balance, and I've crawled most of the time even up the stairs. My mom thinks I'm faking it just because I dont want to go exerising again. I dont, because the pain will only get worse. Is doing the same exerise helping me or hurting me?
I'm 15, and female.

xxpinkeyeliner answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 4:31 pm: It's very important that you talk to your mom immediately. If you continue exercising, the pain could get worse. Tell your mom you will do any of type of exercising but this one just doesn't agree with you. If you sound serious when you tell her this and you make it sound prioritized enough, hopefully she will understand. Good luck!! <33
Erinn_the_bamf answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 4:11 pm: Explain to your mom that she is working you too hard and your not used to it. You shouldn't stop exersising all together but ask your mom if you could do a little less because it's too much. I hope I helped! [ Erinn_the_bamf's advice column | Ask Erinn_the_bamf A Question ]
sshelbyy answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 4:07 pm: Thats totally normal. Your body is getting used to excersizing, so for a while, you will be continue to be sore. It would help if before AND AFTER you work out, you stretch every muscle in your body. When your done excersizing, take a nap and when you wake up, you'll most likely feel better. Good luck! RideThisCowgirl answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 3:54 pm: well it is obvious that you have excercised near to never prior to your mom forcing you to. am i right? well.. that being the case, yes it is completely normal. your muscles arent used to working so hard so they are sore. when i first started cheerleading i would come home sore everyday and it SUCKED! but after a while my muscles got used to the pain and it doesnt hurt anymore. the cure to your pain-CONTINUE EXCERCISING!!! event though it hurts dont quit because its good for you and the pain is only temporary. hope i helped

Karen answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 3:54 pm: The reason why your legs are hurting is because you were probably out of shape and never exercisesd for a long time so it's working. The pain will go away once you get used to it. Just tell your mom to let you not exercise as much. Hope I helped :)

sarah0308 answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 3:54 pm: you should do different exercises. and maybe not exercise as long as you do if it is hurting that bad. and maybe exercise every other day so that way you can give your body a rest and it can get ready for the next day. and if all your doing is one exercise that could have an effect on your pain. do different ones. ex: pushups, situps, run, etc. get what im sayin?

LoViny0ux914 answered Tuesday December 28 2004, 3:51 pm: eventually it will get easier, and it hurts because its working! you're probably just out of shape, so the more you do the exercise the easier it will get! if its really that bad try doing it less often. tell your mom that you will still do it, but ask her if it can be less often so start. hope you feel better! xoxo happy holidays [ LoViny0ux914's advice column | Ask LoViny0ux914 A Question ]
