Tinkerbelle answered Friday December 24 2004, 1:29 pm: For a TRUE messy bun, this is what you do. First you put your hair up in a ponytail, or the regular messy bun (which is when u go through like a normal ponytail but don't pull the hair out all the way, if u know what i mean), it doesn't matter which. Then, you get a second rubber band or whatever you use, scrunch your hair up, like press your hand against your hair and hold it to your head, and rubber band over that. It'll look messier and better than the normal messy bun, because there's more hairs sticking out and stuff. Sorry if that didn't make any sense.. it's hard to explain how I do it. xxxxxx answered Friday December 24 2004, 8:42 am: when your hair is dampish, put gel and hairspray in it and scrunch it a little bit, then put it in a ponytail holder and use one of those big claw clips to keep it upright. [ xxxxxx's advice column | Ask xxxxxx A Question ]
Erinn_the_bamf answered Friday December 24 2004, 8:03 am: I just answer a quesion explaining this so you're in luck. What you do is start by putting your hair in a low ponny tail. Then take the bottom up and wrap around you skrunch (or pony tail holder whatever) and wrap the ends in. Then it just hangs low and you have made a messy bun. I hope I helped! xpiinkh3artzx answered Friday December 24 2004, 12:52 am: Hehe, nice question. What i do is, when you have your hair in the ponytail..fold the ponytail in half, put ponytail holder over the half folded hair, wrap several times and some hairs should stick out. Good luck, hope it works. XoXo- Courtney. [ xpiinkh3artzx's advice column | Ask xpiinkh3artzx A Question ]
TiCkLeD_pInK540 answered Friday December 24 2004, 12:51 am: first of all, IGNORE unfitfather003.
1. wrap a hair band around your hair 2 or 3 times(depending on thinkness)so that there is enough room on your hair band to make another loop.
2. Loop your hair through the band halfway so that the ends are at the top of your head so they spike upwards.
3. pull the ends of the pony around the circumferance of the pony so it's spread evenly
4.adjust how long or how short you want the ends to stick up.
I hope i've been as helpful as possible! Good Luck!
Always,

NEVERLETG00 answered Friday December 24 2004, 12:29 am: when you do a pony tail just a regular one.. dont pull all of the hair thru, just about half way thru twist it and wrap around ur hair again, keep trying this until you get it the way you want you can also pull peices out to get a look that you want.. i hope that helped, (kinda confusing i think) but good luck! x0 [ NEVERLETG00's advice column | Ask NEVERLETG00 A Question ]
