You're not really fat, just insecure. People are teasing you and making fat jokes because they know it bothers you and these may not be true friends. You need to eat, just eat healthy. Eat things that will give you energy like fruits, nuts, grains, and plenty of vegetables. Do not set yourself a low weight goal of 80 pounds. No freshman in high school should weigh a mere 80 pounds. I fluctuated between 100/110 lbs. all through high school and I was considered thin. Exercise is good. That you could excel in if you wanted. Just eat healthy, that's all. Junk food can make you feel like junk. It can make you feel fat even if you don't appear so. Junk food can also affect your moods and energy levels. Healthy food can give you energy and make you want to get up and exercise and it will make you feel good about yourself. But, no, you are not fat, and don't put yourself down. Feel good about yourself and show it by eating healthy and exercising and I can assure you, your inner self will glow brighter than the sun and the fat jokes will dissipate into nothing and you will find others to have respect for you.

Ok... here goes. Unless you are very very short AND have a teeny weeny build you arent overweight. I wont speculate as to why you feel ugly, other than that I would guess that its merely another case of the complex most kids have today (blame Barby or MTV or whatever but its true). However, perhaps your fat to muscle ratio is a bit off, in which case you shouldnt aim to get lighter- merely to subsitute some of the fat for muscle.
Im glad you said the thing about sit ups because there is a disease on this site, it seems most advice givers have hit their heads against something hard and woke up to think crunches/sit ups make you lose weight (or worse, can make you lose weight from your stomach). Excercise helps you lose weight (from all over the body at once), crunches are one (very limited) type of excercise, you might as well only be training your biceps. What you need to do is to start a weight training program. It is the absolute best way to lose or gain weight depending on how you target your training. Weights elevate your metabolism and make you burn fat all day long (no aerobic exercise does this). Then you can decide how much muscle you want to add until you look right (by your definition of course). Join a gym and then get advice on how to set up your routine. Dont worry about bulking up (girls usually worry about this), you wont- its virtually impossible, and any effect will happen slowly, well under your control.

hun everyone feels fat to themselves. And ugly. No one is ugly. Nature doesnt make ugly. it makes BEAUTIFUL!! i thought i was ugly and fat. until i lost 50 pounds in 1 month. but other than that.. okay let me tell you this story..
This one day i went to my exboyfriend's (Chris) football practice (we were going out at the time) but anyways he was on lunch break and this guy came up to him and asked him " How in the world did u get this beautiful young lady to go out with you?" All Chris had said was " All i had to do was say YES!!" And i thought i was so fat and ugly at the time. Thats why i didnt eat that month. But then i found out by Chris that his whole football team, all the guys liked me. and they still do. And i still dont know y. But hun NO ONE is ugly or fat. ESPECIALLY IF YOU ONLY WEIGH 100 POUNDS. That is skinny. VEry skinny. dont think of urself as anything but skinny and BEAUTIFUL. just remember what i said and live life on. Think whats in your heart and not what other people tell you.

Well i hope i helped. If you need anything else just let me know.
Christine

Well, How old are you and how tall are you. If you are 80 pounds and a freshmen in HS then that is considered underweight. I am slim and I weigh 130 lbs. So don't worry too much about it. If they really start to make you mad. Then they aren't your friends and you should try to hang out with people who aren't so judgemental. I hope that helped.
