looking at them
ok, so i have a ton of guy friends, and i never have any trouble talking to them or anything. but theres this one guy that i have a crush on, and i cant look at him when i talk to him! i dont know why, i can talk to him fine, but i avoid looking at him, which makes me look stupid! what can i do to make myself look at him? i can talk just fine, but the looking is the problem... thanks!!

i have never been shy but i have delt with guys that r shy. it will take a while but when you hang out with this guy more it will become easier to look at him as well as talking to him w/o u felling stupid or nething like that. hope i helpped. ~Candy

Well, i no how you feel cause i tend to have the same problem. But since your talkings fine, to try to look at him you could think of how nice his eyes are or just pretend that you crush is like a regular guy friends.

remind yourself that the eyes are the window to the soul, and that he can't see yours if you're not looking at him!
plus, i'm sure he has great eyes... get some time to at least figure out the color every so often, it paints a more accurate mental image and all that

I am the exact same way. That m'dear, is called a crush :-) When you are talking to him, just try to look up once in awhile - the more you talk to him, the easier it will be to look him in the face. Good luck!

O my hunnie dont you worry this is perfectly normal.. i have this issue too i can not look a guy in the eye for more then 10 seconds before I look away, not even my boyfriend. It doesnt make you look stupid your probably just scared that if you look in his eyes you will like him to much or something or youll be scared to know what he is thinking about. Dont worry about it its fine and im sure he wont mind. LOL let me know how it goes..!

The overused advice- "Guys love a girl with confidence." Too bad it is completely true. You know how you get that feeling where your insides have just completely melted when he looks you in the eyes? Yep, the same things happens to guys too. Also, a great tip is to look at the space in between his eyes. That way, you really aren't looking him in the eyes, but he thinks you are!

if its that you cant look at his eyes... and you like him... you need to invite him over to your house or somethin as a friend...
if its that you cant look at him period... you need to just close ur eyes while hes talkin... and then lift your head to his level and open them... it sounds weird but it'll work...
either way... that faact that you cant look at him is probably cause you like him so much, butt you dont want to show that you do in front of his friends or ur friends... maybe in fear of rejection, whatever... invite him over and get to know him better.... and let him know how you feel
