Well, I lived in Ny for many years, and all I know is if you have adult permission (parent/gaurdian) then any age, but if not, depending what part of NY, anywhere from 16-18, most likely 18.

With parental consent I believe it's either 15 or 16. Without parental consent you must be 18 which is the legal age to do almost anything but drink. Hope this answered your question.

If you have parental consent, its probably 16 (at a respectable place). If you don't, its probably 18 - unless you find one of those places that they'll pierce you anyway, but I wouldn't reccomend that.
