He Loves Me, He Loves Me Not
Hello, I'm 16 years old and I'm female. Let me start off by saying I hate the phrase "Let's just be friends." My best friend is one of those types of people who's actions very easily deceive you. I love him so much, and it hurts so bad. We hold hands, hug all the time, even say "I love you". But he says that to everyone. It's so hard because I'm confusing platonic love with "real" love. I take his gestures seriously though, and I really do love him. I want to tell him how I feel, but I don't want to ruin our friendship. He likes someone else, but he is currently single. Should I even bother trying? Am I too young to even be thinking about love? What should I say to him? Thank you so much!

you're not too young... you're never too young for love, sometimes you're just too young for consequences.
don't stop trying, you guys could be perfect for each other and you can never know until you try.
since he's single, that's a definite plus...
some time, you could just say 'i love you' and when he says it back, say 'no, really.' then a quick hug/kiss/whatever and wait for the reaction...

ok to start of with-NO-your not to young to be thinking about love!-are you crazy?-you dont think about loving sum1-it just happens-so make shure your not forceing yourself to like him-cuz we tend to like things we cant have-he may act a little flirty towards to sometimes-but thats sum10 all guys will do-and because your friends with him-your always there so he is able to flirt-and if hes into another grl-he most likley wont want to try goin with you at the moment-friends are the best type of people to go out with-because you kno them so well and are with them all the time-so if you give him time and dont let this get in the way of your friendship-thats rlly all i can tell you-just dont give up on him-but dont let your heart get hurt by sum10 he doesnt mean-like sayin i love you-and maybe he does mean it-just not the way you want him too

I think you shouldn't bother trying. You're taking his actions and thinking they're probably something they're not, and it's just going to hurt you when you talk to him and he says the let's be friends thing. Leave him behind and find a guy that won't play tricks on you.

Hey sweetie, don't worry, telling someone about how you feel about them shouldn't ruin a friendship! You definitely should try getting him and you aren't too young to be thinking about love! Love can come at any age! Just tell this guy how you feel! Just tell him that it hurts you so bad when his actions deceive you because it's not true to him! What you told us in your question is what you should tell this guy! You should tell him how you feel noones too young for love an dyou never know he might love you the same way secretly. Also if worst comes to worst and you guys breakup you can still be friends it shouldn't come between your friendship.

Too young to even be thinking about love? Are you crazy? Love is possible at ANY age. No matter how old you are, where you're from, race, religion, love is possible. It's worth a shot telling him how you feel. Just say ________ I like you alot, we've been friends for a while and I have to tell you this but I think I'm in love with you. I know you have feelings for someone else but all I'm asking for is a chance. Plain and simple tell him how you feel. I think that you are too young to be thinking about love. Everyone says that they just know that it's differnt with thema nd that they really are in love, but it rarely works out when you are so young. You may have strong feelings for him but don't let things get to crazy. But also do not give up on trying to get him, ya never know he may turn around!
