Ok I've been talking to this guy online through a friend. His name is John. Anyway, he recently sent me a picture and he is not cute AT ALL. After seeing that picture I have lost any desire to talk to him, and he keeps IMing me. I feel like the most SHALLOW person on Earth and I feel so bad. But I can't help how I feel. It is really rude to block him so I don't know what to do!! I really don't want to seem or be shallow.

QBillion answered Wednesday December 1 2004, 12:37 am: Well, if you have been talking to him for a long time online, (i.e. like 6 months to a year) you don't just stop talking to someone just because they aren't the cutest guy in the world. But, if you really don't want to talk to him just because he is ugly, just slowly stop talking to him. Just make little convorsation every time you see him, if he likes you then just make it seem like you aren't interested. After you two say "Hi" on IM, say nothing unless asked a question. He should lose intrest in you.
