I know I've seen a question similar to this before, but I haven't been able to find it. So, I'll just ask it again. I'm usually have my period anywhere in between 21 and 28 days. Well, I'm a bad, stupid little girl and I forgot to mark my last one down on a calendar. I'm pretty sure the last time I had mine was on November 2, but I'm not sure. That would make today Day 27 if I'm right about the last one ending on November 2. I'm still kind of nervous about it though. I've never -- well, I have once -- missed a period. I'm a 13 (nearly 14) year old virgin female. Is this normal? I've had my period for about two years.
Additional info, added Wednesday December 1 2004, 6:19 pm: I'm involved in basketball and our coaches make us sprint for ten minutes straight...maybe that's why? We've also been conditioning and stuff. . Want to answer more questions in the Health & Fitness category? Stress..anything..or hormones change them. So since you are not active..you have nothing to worry about...
Unles..of course you have either lost a LOT of wwight or gained a lot. That is when the period stops..so give some more time..ok.
KeLsEyS_PaGe answered Tuesday November 30 2004, 7:24 pm: yes its very normal. expecially whenever your first starting you will skip. if your still a virgin then don't be nervous or anything. another thing that makes it skip is if your very active. meaning if your into sports and stuff like that. that can also make it skip! beauteful_withn answered Tuesday November 30 2004, 4:39 pm: HEy, yes that is totally NORMAL! i had problems with mine too, im 16 and have had it since i was 9 and its still not the most regular thing ever. so you dont need to worry about anything, especially since your a virgin. sometimes stress or depression or even your diet can mess with it. so its ok, everything will be alright. but if you are worried- talk to your mom or your dr. about it. i hope that helps. Don’t worry it’s perfectly normal for a teenager at your age to have irregular periods they will settle into a regular pattern as you get older. If you fell worried or uncomfortable talk about it with friends or your mom if you’re happy discussing things like that with her. But honestly this is something many people your age experience [ Derfel's advice column | Ask Derfel A Question ]

dancinqueen08 answered Monday November 29 2004, 11:40 pm: It's normal for your period to still be sort of irregular. Atleast mine still is and I am 14 and have had it for 2 years. It becomes a problem if you are having it too frequently or not frequently enough. Or if it is only lasting a couple of days or weeks. If you are really worried, talk to your mom or a doctor.
