(14/f) Okay, say I really want to see a rated R movie but my mom won't let me.. If I just go to like Walmart or Target to buy it, do they require you to be 17/have an I.D./have parental supervision? Thanks in advance.

Yes. Sad enough, they do require an id or parental permission. Believe me, i've tried to buy R rated movies. If your parents have like a blockbuster card, then you can go and rent it with their card. You don't have to have and id or be 17 to RENT R rated movies. That's how i get to see them all.

That's a good question. They've never asked me before, but hard to say...Your decision to go against your parents, but you could always just try it. What's the worst the cashier can do? Tell you to put it back? lol...
