hey, my name is zach, 15 yrs and i'm a swimmer in southern california. THIS IS ONLY FOR PEOPLE WHO KNOW STUFF ABOUT COMPETITIVE SWIMMING. does anyone have any suggestions to gain some speed and drop some seconds off of my backstroke??? i can to 100meters in 1:23. tell me how to get faster.

You should go to a community center thingy and ask if there is a coach you can do privates with so they can watch you swim and give you tips. Or just pretend at the end of your swimming thing, a girl will be waiting for you so you could do her ...haha maybe that will speed up your time..and practico makes perfecto..good luck!! I went to alot of stretching classes and circuit training classes and my muscles got stronger and I went a little faster, but I wasnt as tired after I was done with a race.
