baggy jeans

Question Posted Sunday November 14 2004, 8:02 pm

So yestareday... I got a pair of jeans from Hollister. Their fit fine in the front... but in the back of my legs/butt their kinda baggy. How can I make them "tighter" in the back without them shrinking anywhere else?
Thanks so much!

I don't think that there is anything you can do. Some jeans will fit like that whereas some won't! It all depends on what shape of body you have. Putting them in the dryer might possibly work because sometime's after I buy new jeans and I wash & dry them, they fit 10x better =) I hope you figure it out!

Well either.. take them back and get a different size.. or shrink them.. that's really the only thing you can do..

Moop answered Sunday November 14 2004, 8:46 pm:
as far as shrinking (or partial shrinking) of clothing goes, it does not work on manufactured clothing unless it has a large content of wool or mohair (we're talking nordic sweaters, not pants).

You can do nothing to make them tighter in the back.

Wear a belt? that's the only thing that may fix this problem. if you find a special substance that shrinks things, let me know, I could use some myself.
