Okay, There's This Kid Named Jacob That I Really Really Like. Problem Is, I Live In Pennsylvania And He Lives In Florida! I Didn't Meet Him In A Chat Or Anything, My Friend From School Moved From Florida And Knew Him. He Visits Pennsylvania A Couple Times A Year To Visit His Friend!! And He Said He Really Likes Me And He's Just All Confused Cuz He Really Wants To Date Me And Stuff! I Like Him Alot.. And I'd Be Able To Meet Him Eventually. And I Don't Mind Long Distance Relationships, Do You Think This Is Okay??

Sherry answered Thursday November 11 2004, 6:31 pm: Yeah, since you didnt meet this guy through a chat-room you know he's not a pediphile. Has he seen you, do you know what he looks like? If you like him, go for it. But from my personal experience, you miss him because you like him so much it just sucks to not see him all the time. And, you both have to have a lot of trust in eachother. [ Sherry's advice column | Ask Sherry A Question ]

BUT if you two REALLY, i mean REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY REALLY like eachother, then ofcourse, GO FOR IT! But, I would give yourself like a month without talking to him, and see if you still like him. Cause that way you can see if it was just a little crush or if its a real thing..

FrEe2bMe answered Thursday November 11 2004, 6:18 pm: Hey there. Well, the fact that you ddin't meet this guy in some weird chat or something is good. There's no rule saying that you can't like him justb ecause he lives in a different state and y'alls haven't met yet. I say continute liking this guy and give it a chance. You have no reason not to so long as y'all both are willing. But the first time y'all see each other don't get too serious because you still need time to get to know him like *in person* But when y'all do meet talk to him about wanting to have a substantial relationship with one another. Long distace can work, as long as both people are willing to make the effort. Give things with this guy a shot! What do ya have to lose! Go for it! :) [ FrEe2bMe's advice column | Ask FrEe2bMe A Question ]
