Ok, I have 2 years to lose 100 pounds or so! I need help though lol. What is the best diet south beach,atkins, ect. Like what should I do. And do you think it would take 2 years or shorter? And what should i NOT eat. Thanks if you can help me!

you could definitly lose 100 pounds in two years. the best diet i would say is the south beach because mi mom lost a ton of weight on it. also u should exersise too. hope this helped. xoxoxo ~Kerri~

Just cut the stuff high in saturated fat or sugar. If you start running or walking you'll shed pounds very quickly. One of my friends lost 70 pounds over the summer because he started a physical activity!!! Good Luck!

I researched both the atkins diet and the south beach diet, before I chose the atkins diet. The south beach diet was way to complicated. I lost 50 pounds in three months on atkins. Go to atkins.com and you'll find all the info you need. There's an acceptable food list and you can't eat anything that's not on that list.

Do the diet where you count your calories... i forgot what it is called though - my grandmother is doing it and she has last a lot of punds - Don't cut sweets out of your diet completely, but odn't eat a lot!! Eat more frutis and vegetables... If you drink soft drinks, only drink 1 a week! Don't eat a lot of grains... if you do, eat like wheat bread. And excercise atleast 3 - 4 days a week for an hour. I hoped i helped!! :)

The best way to lose weight is to keep track of your calories, if your someone who wants to always eat (haha like me) then always eat fruits and vegetables they are the best things for you. And they have hardly any calories. Doing fad diets have there positives and negatives, but since you have 2 years for your weight loss then I would suggest NOT doing a fad diet because they end up working (but only for a VERY short period of time) Start doing things small like if you drink alot of pop, then drink one a day and then drink none, replace it with water. Start walking more in a day park your car farther away from where u have to go. The best thing you can do is to try and through in exercise everywhere you go. Buy a pedometer (it counts how many steps you take in a day) and try and reach 10 000 (thats what you should take in a day to be considered active) Then each day try and beat your goal. Another thing you could look into are Ephedra free supplements that can help you suppress your appeptite. I am throwing alot of ideas in there but basically cut your calories, drink tons of water, eat lots of fruits and vegies and exercise! if you want to talk further into dieting I can help you , just contact me, my email is my nickname at hotmail.com

do not eat junk food...like chips, french fries, mc donalsd u kno (fast food out of list) dont eat anything unhealthy...just eat salads...and fruits and boiled eggs and bolied pattato...you could like put some oil, slat and vineger...that would taste so good...oh boy (damn i'm hungry) and yah...excercise...run a mile 3 times a week...run or walk...start off walkin then add up joggin and then run...if you do wut i wrote ...you gonna loose pounds in like hmmmm 1 1/2 ;) hope i helped xoxo effy

I dont agree with the whole atkins thing or any of those fab diets. I used to be heavy myself and now im quite skinny. I found that by keeping by stomach somewhat full helped in sheding the pounds. Ex. I would eat a light breakfast eat a pack of crackers an hour befor lunch eat a small lunch have another snack an hour befor dinner then eat a full course meal at dinner then go for a walk afterwards. It worked wonders for me. You never want to overstuff yourself.

I do NOT suggest atkins or south beach diet for long term diets. (Because you will lose so much weight and/or you'll die) The only long term deit that would work is eat 3 meals a day, no junk food in between, and only drink water/diet pepsi. And exercise 2-4 times a week! It takes 6 monnths to stick to your new lifestyle so stick to it and good luck!
