They are SUPPOSED to pooch out a little - that layer of fat develops sometime after getting your period. It's there to protect your reproductive system and any future children you might get pregnant with.
Women are supposed to have breasts, tummies, and hips. That's how it is. Instead of trying to change ourselves to fit the media, we should be trying to change the media! [ alisonmarie's advice column | Ask alisonmarie A Question ]

xO_Chelsea_Ox answered Friday October 29 2004, 10:27 pm: Yes, just do regular crunches and sit-ups and other abdominal (spell?) exercises... I would go to a regular gym though and get your own personal trainer because you probably would get better results and faster... I hoped i helped!! :)
Sporkster answered Friday October 29 2004, 9:39 pm: Crunches are excellent for losing fat around your stomach. It takes awhile to see results (as most excerises), but in the end it's worth while. Do maybe five crunches a day, once in the morning and once at night. Gradually work up to ten, fifteen, even twenty crunches a day morning and night. Make sure you drink lots of water to reduce bloating so it makes your tummy look smaller. =) Hope this helps, <3 Sporkster [ Sporkster's advice column | Ask Sporkster A Question ]
Karen answered Friday October 29 2004, 9:08 pm: Yup, there is! You just have to do abdominal exercises such as crunches and sit ups! Start off with a few crunches and sit ups than increase them every few days! Hope I helped :) [ Karen's advice column | Ask Karen A Question ]
liddylflirtx3 answered Friday October 29 2004, 9:06 pm: Try setting a goal for yourself to do 100 crunches a day. I know it may seem hard, but try to picture the fabulous results, sweetie! Within a couple of months, your stomach should look much trimmer! =)
If you don't want to just do crunches, I suggest buying a work-out video made especially for people who want to lose a little bit of weight near their stomach.
