If the smell is really strong, there might be something wrong and you should talk to a doctor. But seriously, you shouldn't douche. [ lovelyrita's advice column | Ask lovelyrita A Question ]

Douching is not a safe way to clean that area, in fact, most doctors/health care providers would reccomend against it. It will disrupt your natural chemical balance and make you succeptible to bacterial infections.
The vagina actually cleans itself naturally with your fluids but the best way for you to clean it yourself is with water and UNSCENTED soap. Other products may be harmful to you as well.
If you have a very strong odor or any kind of unusual secretions/discharge see a doctor as soon as possible since it may be an indication of an underlying health issue. [ AmericnJewl's advice column | Ask AmericnJewl A Question ]

You will kill all of the good bacteria inside you. Those bacteria help to keep your body neutral and healthy.
Soap and water is fine. Don't use douche, or any kind of feminine perfumes AT ALL. You are more likely to get an infection if you use all kinds of products on your private area. [ selectopaque's advice column | Ask selectopaque A Question ]
