first of all i am really sorry about your dog. i love dogs very much and i feel extremely bad for what happened. you could talk to a close friend about it. you just have to remember the good times you had with hervery. any time you need to talk you can always talk to me. hope i helped. i am sorry about your dog.

Aww, I'm really sorry about your dog. I know how it feels. I used to have a cat that I really loved. Her name was Maxine, and one night, she was assualted by about 3 rotweilers and was killed. My neighbor brought her remains over to our house in a box with a cloth over it. I loved her, and I still can't get over her.

Didn't mean to ramble on, but I wanted you to know that I can really relate with you. There will be some creatures in the world that will make you very mad (people and animals), but that is life. Hervery is gone, but you should pray to whoever you worship every night and remember that she is in a less painful place now. If you ever need to talk to me, you can e-mail me at Annibellia47@yahoo.com. You can Instant Message me at redheadzrock24 OR at babyblu824. I hope that you feel much better. God Bless

If everyone in your family misses the dog, why don't you ask for another dog or pet? Apparently there is a huge gulf left by the absence of this beloved pet. It's hard, but you only have to bring it up once. Families are there to lean on.**********Well that would have been nice to know before I answered your question. Maybe you just need some grief conseling.

I would suggest getting yourself a cat as a transitional pet. It would be company for you without reminding you too much of your old dog. When you are ready for another dog (probably in a couple of years) you will be able to let it kill the cat, thus maintaining a single pet environment.
