15/f god sometimes i hate myself. im really outgoing when im around my best friends and the people i've known my whole life. but when i meet new people i act all weird. tonight we had a football game and my new friend invited me to hang out with her friends. so when i first met them i was all cool and outgoing, but then we sat on the bleachers and i didnt say a word and they talked. the whole night i just sat there. cause i had nothing to say except random stuf. and everytime i talked they were like shocked to hear me actually say something. i seriously wanted to run away and die. now im afraid theyre gonna think im boring. i dont know what to do.........

you're soo not alone! i've got a billion friends like that.. heck even i'm like that at times.. i'll be like the dumbest and funniest and weirdest person ever and then one minute im like so quiet and kept to myself, you know? and besides.. these are like what? 3 people out of like 3945830958 others. if they think you're boring then that'll just give you a small challenge of proving to them you're not. it's not your fault that you just dont really have much to contribute to their conversations..but next time if you want.. then try to steer the convo to something you like or you know will get you talking. or bring up a story about one of your friends or an event or something that happened. first impressions AREN'T everything.

you shouldn't care that much whether those people like you or not. life is way too short to worry about things like that. but if you are that afraid that they don't like you, go ahead and ask your friend how she thought you acted and see if her friends said anything about you. try and talk to them and say, sorry i acted a little crummy at the game. i am usually really outgoing and fun and etc. if that doesn't work, tell me and i will give you sum more tips...

Well all i can say is that, it's a normal reaction cuz that happens to me all the time. But once u get to kno them a little more then u start to loosen up, I think that the reason that ppl do that is becuz they don't kno wat the new ppl that they r meeting expect from them. So when u actually say sumthin they think to themselves "wow I didn't kno that they were like that or act that way" But don't be embaressed to say sumthin, cuz u r the way u r, and that is the coolest thing u can do is to just be urself and act the way u always do. Doesn't matta if ur crzy, wild, quiet, shy just be urself.

Don't worry some people are like you. Me for example I am the kind of person who is shy when it comes to meeting new people but then after I get to know them more then I start to more open. For you all you have to do is the next time you are around those girls think of some things that you might have in common with them. If you don't think that you might have some things in common then just start asking them what they like just so you can get to know them better and that way you can also see what your friend saw in them.
