im so freaked out, what do i do?
okay im a girl and i havent gotten my period since like the middle of august, and theres no way im pregnant ive never done anything with a guy cept making out and that cant make you pregnant, so i have no idea why im not getting my period. i got my first one like around xmas 2002 so culd it just be irregular? what culd make it stop? is there sumthing wrong with me? anyone help me please! im kind of scared!

Well, since we've rulled out being pregant, that's good. I would think that since you are worried about it not being here (with good reason, of course) that could be making it late. I've been stressed out before and it's made it late, which is a pain!!
You've been having it long enough, so I'd say that you should go to the Gyno (regular doctors are OK, but a Gyno only works in that department, so they may be more knowledgable about it) and go from there. They may put you on Birth Control to help regulate it. Good luck!! =)

It's probably just irregular, but you should probably see a doctor just in case. They might refer you to a gynecologist, which deals with female health, like periods and things like that. They will be able to find out what's causing you to not have your period and how they can maybe fix what's wrong.

this same thing happened to me last year. It was because I was underweight for my height, and my body couldn't support having a period. Maybe you're underweight? I suggest talking to a doctor about it, just to be on the safe side!

Your period can be irregular for a number of reasons. If you've never had sex, then you're definitely not pregnant. So you can rule that out. However, if you have been unusually stressed lately or you've been getting a lot more exercise, those factor can also throw your cycle off. Even if you have been regular this whole time, it's normal to get thrown off when you're young. Another aspect to consider is who you've been hanging out with. Studies have shown that a female's menstrual cycle can change to meet that of the females around them. If you've been hanging out with anyone new, that could be the cause of your cycle's delay. Every female's cycle differs in different ways due to the hormones in their bodies. I wouldn't worry about it for now, but if it doesn't come by the end of October, I'd talk to your mom about going to see a doctor about it. You may be fine, but it's always good to make sure your body is healthy.

yeah, i haven't had my period since then either, and i got my period in like 1999. your just irregular. that or maybe i'm suffering from overian cancer, but i doubt it. you're just irregular.

Dont worry, this happens to alot of girls, even myself, (who also is not sexually active) its actually normal, sometiems it just skips a month or evne two, but it you go past 3 months you might want to talk to a parent or see a doctor, otherwise you have nothing to worry about, lots of my friedsn only get theres every other month (lucky huh?) hey, u don't need 2 worry every1's period is irregular the 1st couple of years, well m-b not every1, but mine was the 1st year, but everything is ok now. So nothing is worng w/u...IT'S NORMAL! Hope I have helped.

It's Just Irregular, body changing, I was actually on my period for 4 months straight last year around this time, so I went to the gyn (female) doctor and she put me on birth control, so don't freak out, wait mabye one month and if it still dosen't come you may consider going to see a doctor. Hey, don't worry sweetie, every girl's period is irregular first few years. There's nothing wrong with you. Maybe the reason why you haven't gotten your period in a while is that you are stressing too much? Stress can cause your period to be regular. Just calm down with everything and your period should be back to normal in no time! Hope I helped :)

Don't worry. Nothing wrong with you. Especially if you haven't had sex. YOU ARE NOT PREGNANT, so don't worry. Here's some things that can set your period back.
- Stress
- Going from not excersizing, to excersizing a TON
- Going from not doing active sports to doing them a lot
But it could just be that you are irregular. Call your doctor/gyno and tell them what's going on. They may check you, but just to see if medicine to regulate your period would be right. I'm sure nothing is wrong. :)

First off, calm down, especially if you're not sexually active. It could be caused by stress and activity. If you are physically active like you are involved in sports you get it irregularly. Also when you're young and you've had it for less than a year to a year and a half you'll get it irregularly. Just calm down. You worrying isn't going to make it come sooner. Hope this helped.
