Question Posted Thursday September 30 2004, 6:39 pm
okay, i've been with this guy for a while now and our realationship is pretty good and stuff, but...i somehow want him to show more affection towards me; like more touching or even just talking to me or w/e. He touches me and stuff so its not like he stays completly away, but its always not when i want it. I guess i just kinda hope for the 'fantasy relationship' but i think that maybe his ways could be changed. Do ya'll have any ideas on how i can get him to show more affection or w/e? please help, and dont just say talk to him about it :o) Thanks, i rate!

It may not be as much as you want or when you want it. That's just how they are. Maybe there's even something wrong, he feels uncomfortable doing it ? If you two talk it out you might find out more, as to why he won't show affection as much. Make sure you let him know what affection you like. If he doesn't know then he can't do it. If he does something you like. Mention that you love when he does that or that he should do it more. If he's not the type to show that much affection theres really nothing you can do but complain and that will just get on his nerves. [ carmextHiEF's advice column | Ask carmextHiEF A Question ]

Write it in your journal and then leave it out for him to see. COMMUNICATION IS THE KEY! [ jazz82289's advice column | Ask jazz82289 A Question ]

If it was me, I'd maybe brush up against him and maybe kiss his neck, trying to hint it to him. If that doesn't work, find a Cosmo and circle the "Read her Mind" part and add a post-it note saying something sexy that would involve touching you.
