Lumps are not normal, but this does not mean they are all dangerous. You should check with a doctor to settle your mind - most breast lumps are just harmless collections of cells, but it's always best to double check.

It was quite a while ago, but I think I remember a "lump" when I first started to bud. I got paranoid, but it's just a normal part of growing. Laura answered Monday September 27 2004, 10:18 pm: Umm, no, actually, they don't. It could just be a cist or something, but still, tell your mom and she'll probably take you to the doctor to make sure. But to tell you completely honestly, I'd need to know where it was. If it's like little tiny bumps around your nipple, then yeah, that happens. But if it's like actually in your breast tissue, then it needs to be looked at. My cousin had some removed because they worried her. It's not a huge deal, but tell your mom.
MFS answered Monday September 27 2004, 9:46 pm: breasts can get firm from time to time, but I cannot say that they necessarially get lumps when they grow. If you are concerned, don't hesitate to talk to a doctor. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
