When your out in a crowd, go up to some body (within reason)and introduce yourtself. When you are comfortable to do that and actually hold a long conversation, your ready. But, while your doing that, try to just say hi in the hallway. Do that for a week. Then ask them how there doing... profress during each week. it helps if you try to do both!! lol
Siren_Cytherea answered Monday September 27 2004, 9:27 pm: Okay, lemme just check and make sure I got your questionishthing - you have trouble not being all shy around guys you like/when you're around a guy you like, you change, and you wanna learn how to be yourself around them, right?
On the assumption that I am right, I'll continue...Lol. I used to have trouble with that, too. I'd always have trouble talking to guys I liked without being all nervous. The first guy I was ever able to talk to without changing is the guy I'm dating now, and that's because I was fighting the crush I was getting on him. Lol. Anyway.
That's always hard. You almost have to be comfortable with YOURSELF before you can really be comfy around anyone else. If you can, imagine you're talking to one of your girl friends...just don't talk to your crush about how hot your crush is. Lol that might not go over too well.
I hope this helped on some level!
