fairy costume
well, for halloween my friends and i all wanted to be fairys together, just for the fun of it. the thing is, i really don't have that much $ so i m trying to make a costume. does anyone have any ideas on how i could put this all together? just so you know, i suck at sewing. lol. but if its an easy pattern, i can probably do it. thanx a bunch!~i rate.

i did that once. it's fairly easy, just go to a craft store and head straight for the feathers section. get a soft colored sweater, like white or light pink, a matching skirt, and some white tights. hot-glue the feathers around the bottom seams of the skirt, your wrists, and your neck. if you don't have access to hot glue, you can even staple.
you can get some ballerina slippers at dear old wal-mart for very cheap, or just wear the slippers you already have.
as for the wings, just try a fairly small store like walgreens and look around the costume section. not hard at all. good luck.

Aright, so go to the fabric store in ur area and try to find a pattern that u really like, if it's easy then try to make it, but if it's hard then still try to make it, u still have enough time to make it.

go to like a party store where u can buy costumes or parts of costumes buy a wand and a piar of wings where a light sparkly blue shirt and a white skirt. that would look really cute.

who says you have to completely make it? just get a white (or colored) mini skirt and a glittery shirt. buy some cheap fairy wings and a can of glittery hair spray. wear high heels and wear really glittery make up (eye shadow, lip gloss, ect.) you could even have a wand! i hope i helped!

see if anyone you kno was a fairy and see if u can borrow there costume. or if worst comes to worst babysit or ask your parents for allowence. if that doesnt work buy wings and wear a little white skirt and top and then put glitter on your face and oufit and it will look great!

you can make wings fairly easily (pun very much intended). Take wire coat hangers and stretch them/contort them whatever, into the shape you want, and then pull pantyhose over the shape. You can then decorate the panty hose with glitter glue or whatever you want. Stick them to your shirt like someone said with velcro, or get elastic bands. That shouldn't cost too much money to make so you can splurge a bit more on other accessories.

Well instead of a full costume, go to party city and buy little accessories like maybe some wings..or a cute wand..and then wear like a white skirt and a light pink top..Hope i helped

Okay, well, at Dollar Tree and all the other family stores, they have little plastic tiaras and crowns and wands for like a buck, so get a little tiara and a wand, and then you can go to Wal-Mart and buy some really see-through sparkly material, and cut it into kinda ovals, and then you can so a seam on them if you want, and you can buy velcro at Wal-Mart with a sticky thing on the back, put one part on your wings, and one part on a t-shirt. There ya go! Just wear a white shirt and white pants, and yeah. Sorry if that didn't explain very well, let me know if you need more detail.
