xHeartxOfxGoldx answered Monday September 20 2004, 3:40 pm: Well.. interviews are very important and since this is a more expensive place it prob. pays more soo this is why you need to do your best!=) and make sure they pick you over the rest! ;) You need to know how to make an impression but not bad one! lol.. Heres some tips that I hope help!;)
1.)Smile... employers like good attitudes with all there employees
2.)Wear something conservative... Keep yourself pretty classy and covered up. ((remember no one want to see to much skin at an interview))
3.) Shake their hand when you first meet them.((this will show them that your respectful and that you care))
4.)Keep eye contact throughout the whole interview ((It shows that your interested))
5.)Don't bite your nails or play with a pen etc. Make sure your very attentive.. otherwise they might think you're not easily distracted.
6.)Don't be afraid to ask questions about the job that you might have. ((It shows that you're assertive))
7.)Turn off all cell phones, pagers, beepers etc. You do not want to be interupted in the middle of an interview.
8.)Say Thank you with a smile,at the end of the interview. :)

jbdreamer answered Monday September 20 2004, 1:44 pm: Just be yourself, but extra cheary and happy. You have to be outgoing, (since you are expected to sing to your customers when they tip you). Smile a lot and be positve with all your answers. If you have a good personality, you should have no problem! [ jbdreamer's advice column | Ask jbdreamer A Question ]
Anarchilist answered Monday September 20 2004, 1:41 pm: First off, dont over dress, try to wear almost the same stuff that the employees there wear, and keep calm and just be yourself, try cracking a few non-offensive jokes at the interview, also answer any "important" questions as you think they'd want you to answer them, so instead of replying "Yeah I'll usually do some coke on my break" to their question about drug say "No, drugs are bad, I'd never do them." xo__LiSHY answered Monday September 20 2004, 1:38 pm: Ooh i worked at an ice cream place for 3 years! It's fun but trust me...you won't wanna eat ice cream ever again after a few months!
Just be confident and be sure of yourself. You have to make them believe that you're the best for the job and to do so YOU have to believe it yourself! Good luck! [ xo__LiSHY's advice column | Ask xo__LiSHY A Question ]
