Not exactly computers, but I messed up my cell phone..
I have a cingular sony ericsson T226, and I was using the composer feature to customize a ring tone. I got it the way I wanted it, then I attempted to "add effect" and since that time, it ruined the ring tone, and any attempts to make a new one, due to the fact that it makes all the notes the exact same pitch.
I cant find how to fix it and I'm needing some serious help. I cant stand to live with that screaching much longer.

All I can suggest is to read the manual very carefully, or take it back to the place you got it, and they should be able to fix it for you if it's still under warrenty.

i'm not a cell phone fixer but people at the Cingular should be! go take a trip over there and hopefully they can help you with your cell phone troubles. hope your ring tones end up okay! =] -ask_anything

You can go to Cingular and ask for help but for now just change your ringtone:)
