Talk to ur dad! I know it's scary n all going to ur parents saying uhh I broke the digital camera but hey it's worth it. Don't sneak around it only makes things worse. mayb u just ran the batteries. or mayb u need to shut ur camera off all the way put in the batteries then turn it on? anyways it was a complete accident that u "broke" it. If u were just changing the batteries ya ok mayb u'll parents will get mad but it's better than say yea I was swinging it around when I accidently let go and it hit a wall and broke. And also it's better to get yelled at then try to fix it and break it even more..if that's possible lol. if ur too scared to talk to ur parents try the suggestions of cvs or something. go up to a person who works in the photoshop and tell them ur sitution and ask how to fix it. good luck sry my answer was so long for such a simple question! lol hope u get it fixed! :) (sry I like this smiley!)

If the batteries that you originally took out of the camera were specifically FOR the camera - other batteries won't work. For example, I have a Kodak digital camera and the batteries used in it are specifically powerful enough for the camera. Other regular batteries, such as a run of the mill energizer battery, just won't be powerful enough to even turn the camera on.

I suggest recharging your original camera batteries, and consider buying an extra set of the same powerful batteries so you have something to run the camera on if the original batteries die.

either ask your dad or if you take it to your local photo shop they can fix it for you. it's most likely not a huge problem but it probably will cost you like 20 bucks... you can take it to the electronics section of wal*mart or circut city or go to the place where you purchased it. also look at the owners manual it should have something in there.
