Quick Shutdown

This is a very stupid question being a computer person, but does anybody know where quick shutdown options are on windows XP?

go to start and click shut down it has restart and stand by and shut down.

u can just use the the keyboard and hit...

the windows key then hit "U" 2ce

they're shortkeys

and for 98 u can just hit windows key "u" "s" enter

Generally all windows distros have their shut down options in the bottom of the start menu. I don't know if you can do this with windows, but most Linux based desktop environments have a plugin for the task bar so one can shut down like that. You could try looking for one I guess, but don't be to hopeful.

if you press alt+F4, then it automatically brings you to the shut down mode- but only if you arre on your desktop. if u r in a program, itll shut down the program
