princs answered Friday September 3 2004, 11:17 am: Stay away from chocolate and caffine, they make your cramps worse. Extra strength advil works wonders. I used to have a prescription for my cramps cause they get sooooo bad and it doesnt work 1/2 as good as advil does.
Hope I helped :)

DruidX answered Friday September 3 2004, 6:58 am: Heat, Pain killers, sleep, sometimes food. For heat, you don't have to get any special pads, just a hot waterbottle.
And I say sometimes food, because it rasies your blood-sugar level and makes you feel a lot better. Even nibbling on a bar of chocolate can help. [ DruidX's advice column | Ask DruidX A Question ]
juicyfruit answered Friday September 3 2004, 3:43 am: Heating pads...also I like to take a nice long hot bubble bath. That simmers down the pain a bit. Also sleeping. Like take a nap or something. [ juicyfruit's advice column | Ask juicyfruit A Question ]
silent_x_cry answered Friday September 3 2004, 1:22 am: I'm not one to take medicine for pain, but if they're really bad, Midol and Pamprin work very well for me. You can also try lying down with a heating pad on your belly, or taking a long bath. Another great thing to do is get active -- go for a walk or go swimming. Getting active loosens the muscles in your stomach and tends to get rid of cramps. [ silent_x_cry's advice column | Ask silent_x_cry A Question ]
