How do I tell my mom I want to wear thongs?
k, im 13 and I wanna wear thongs. lol, I know, weird, but newayz... i had one be4 that my cousin had got me and i had to throw it away after i wore it once cuz i didnt wanna get caught. I dont know how, because everytime it comes up, all my mom says is idk y u would purposly put your underwear up your butt. If you think about it, when you wear regular underwear, you pick it out. I think that thongs are really comfortable, how do i tell her I wanna wear em???

im 13 and i wear a thong sometimes. my friend and i walk around the mall. we go to undie shops. buy them. hide them at home. i hide mine in my closet in a old handbag. wash them in my bathroom with hand soap and let air dry. hope this helps. ps... victorias secret is really comfortable!

tell her why you want to wear them - maybe its just because you dont want an underwear line or something but tell her the truth.dont be like well its cool - everyone does because that gets you no where!

(read the bottom too) ok i was in this situation before.. just tell your mom that you need some because you dont like people seeing your underwear line thru yur pants.. and its embarrasing i told my mom that and now everytime i ask her for one she always buys me one.. also i used to buy them when my mom wasnt around and just hide them in my drawers and do the laundry when the needed to be cleaned but then i asked her if i could wear them and she said i could

Hehe,just be straight up with your mom.Tell her that you feel much more comfrotable in thongs,and that it's not like "shoving your underwear up there",lol,cuz there's not as much material in a thong,so it doesn't irritate like regular undies would.And let her know that you don't plan on showing off your underwear to anyone,you just want to be comfrotable!!And maybe compromise and get a couple pairs of string bikini undies,like for "that time of the month" lol. She should understand!

My mother doesn't 'understand' thongs either (she occasionally looks baffled when I'm going through the washing and says "I just don't see *how* they can be comfortable!"). She was a little bemused at first, but she, like your mother, will get used to it. As you've said, it's not about being sexual and showing it off, it's just about being comfortable and feeling comfortable knowing that you don't have a visible knicker line. If you explain that to her, I'm sure she'll be okay with you wearing them. If the idea of bringing up the topic yourself is too daunting, you could just buy a few plain ones yourself (nothing that's likely to scare her, such as something with a flirty message written accross it!) and if she asks, then explain as above why you want to wear them. This is wat i did. we were going shopping for underwear and i was in like 8th grade i think ? and my mom is just like your mom about thongs. i asked her if i could try them and just see if i liked them or not and if i lieked them we'd buy more.. if i didnt then whatever no big deal. but i brought it up and i acted really curious and told her i think i might like them. good luck!!

i know how u feel! I was the exact same way and my mom was always saying "it's like dental floss for your butt" but finally I just came out and asked her if i could go shopping for some and surprisingly...she said yes!! Just tell ur mom that it's JUST underwear, there's nothing special abt it and it's not like ur going to show it off (as u said). i'd hope she'd be fine with it, cuz it would be REALLY controlling of her to tell u what kind of underwear ur allowed to have. if nothing else, just buy some one ur own and be like, mom i went shopping for new underwear! (since obviously u can't return it)
