cutie_babee answered Sunday August 22 2004, 6:27 pm: well in a best man speach you talk about um the past between the groom and bride...and you also speak of imbarassing moments to make pplz laugh and also at the end it's like a toast "to the best man I'v ever known and to the most gorgious lady you love" you know something sweet....he could even talk about the first time he met the bride and the first time he met the groom and say like wow when I saw you I was like "dude he's a nerd man"...lol...you know just stuff to make them laugh ans stuff to make them cry mix it up a little

xokristabelle answered Sunday August 22 2004, 6:20 pm: Here's a basic format.
- How you met the groom.
- When you met the bride.
- Why they're great together.
- Funny story about marriage.
- How happy you are for them and how you wish them lots of luck. A joke can fit in the very end, too.
Here's an example:
I've known Bob since I was a little kid, and we've have lots of fun over the years. I am so happy to be here at another happy event in Bob's life. Cindy's been an aqquantince of mine for a few years, and she's a great girl. They're such a great couple because they have things in common but are seperate people. I knew a couple once who were exactly alike...sounds like a great thing, right? But it was really scary. (FUNNY STORY ABOUT IT GOES HERE). I'm thrilled for you guys and wish you loads of luck. And remember, (TIE IN WITH STORY)!
xxKillerQueen answered Sunday August 22 2004, 6:06 pm: Well, it could be anything from touchy to hilareous. Something touchy would be like how happy he is for him, and how ever since he met him, he knew he would find someone perfect for him because he deserved it, and then maybe say that he hopes the best for them, and that he knows they're going to be the ideal couple.
Something funny would be like a mock-drama about the groom before he was with [bride].
xlostangelx answered Sunday August 22 2004, 5:44 pm: well, herez a good example in my opinion:
" the first time i met (bride or groomz name, whoever he met first) , he/she wuz so lost and didnt think he'd/she'd ever settle down...but then, he/she met (bride or groomz name that his friend met) , and everything brightened up for him/her, and everyone culd tell he/she was so in love and just loved living for the fact that he/she had (groom/bridez name again) in his/her life. and i culdnt be happier for the both of yu...i wish yu nuthing but the best of luck and wish yu the happiest life together. i love yu guyz.
