well maybe u should look up different places that have year long sessions and learn EVERYTHING u can about them. Then tell ur parents about everything u learned and what's the best deal. And see if they change their mind. And if they don't ask them if they can give u some of the money and u'll earn the rest to pay for the lessons. If u LOVE gymnastics and ur willing to do that maybe they'll support u more! Or u could also see if anyone u no takes gymnastics and see if they will teach u some stuff. Then show ur parents wat u learned!

Hello. You're situation must be hard to deal with. In a way, I can relate to it, but not completely. I am "in love" with soccer and I am allowed to play and have been playing for a long time, but when I watch it on TV I think sometimes "I will never be that good" but my friends and family give me encouragement. You're parent's may have made some wrong decisions for you but that doesn't mean it's too late to become as great as the professional olympians that you see on telivision. One thing that keeps me with a positive attitude when watching professional soccer: I say in my head "I have great potential and will continue to work hard and they have had YEARS of training and I have YEARS left to train so I can be as good as them if I work for it." However, I don't say it that way, heh. So just think that way if it's possible and know that there's a possibility that you'll be as good as the professional gymnasts someday. Thank's for you're time, and please take my advice into consideration, even if it isn't the best.

I can feel your pain, ive loved gymnastics for a long time too and my parents wont let me join at all cuz of money issues. look for places that have year long sessions and if they have a website look at what they'll teach you. it may also be that you are on the wrong level and you should be at a higher one. just a suggestion.

Ok well, girl keep up the motivation. No ones useless and no dream is shattered until you've lost all your hope, so keep the hope up. Try getting a job or doing some chores so you can make money and pay for gymnastics. What other rejection could they have to that? Explain how you feel and how you want to be good at something, and you really just want to have your own little hobby. After they see all this they'll be like wow, shes right. If your still having troubles come straight to me, my inbox is waiting :-)

good luck xoxo

I'm not sure if your familiar with the process of most girls in the olympics. There's this program where they start their training at around the age of 2 to determine whose got what it takes. They train them, a lot of the parents force them to do these painful exercises over and over again until they're freakishly flexible. Then, out of all the girls in the program, only a select few make it. So after training that starts at age 2 until I'm not sure when, several girls try and fail at there dream. It's sad really. Since you don't have the proper training, I don't think shooting for the olympics is the way to go. You have to be good at something, and I'm almost possitive you know this too. It may be that you just don't want to pursue anything else because this has been your dream for years. You still have plenty of time to decide what you want to do and who you want to be, my advice is to not worry so much about it at your age and just try to have fun.
