what are the positions on a volleyball court?

4 3 2

5 6 1

1 is the serving pos.
2 is right side hitter
3 is middle blocker/hitter
4 is left side hitter
5 is back left
6 is middle back or sumtimes a DS

there are 6 players at once on the court. But, it depends on how the team wants to play and their positions. When I played in high school on the Varsity team we had one two middle hitters, two setters, and two outside hitters.

well on a volley ball court you have three fowards one right in the middle two on the sides and then you have three in the back but the center is always more infront then in the back well both centers stay in place higher up and then the person that serves is in the back of the line other then that she's infront but behind her center the other person that doesn't serve is just there
