getting high
i used to cut for 2 years but my ex bf told after i went through a lot and he told so now im getting help...well the other day my friend came over and we were talking about cutting but i stopped so she said "well getting high takes it away like cutting does" so i got high, my friends would kill me if they found out...and theyd probably tell and i dont want that to happen...theyd probably all hate me too and i dont want that to happen cauze i love them all sooo much! but the only person who knows is that girl...help me please, what do i do?

I CUT 2! thats how i release alot of pain..
but i dont do it so deep it leaves scares.. only for it 2 bleed..
and if your friends get mad or start 2 hate u.. they aint good friends and find new ones!

i wouldnt smoke...i wuld try to find other things to get yur mind off cutting. i wuld get help..well yu already are, so keep doing that!! find hobbies to keep yu happy and it seemz lyk yu have a caring boyfriend, so stick by him!!

Switching one problem for another still leaves you with a problem. It's good that you're getting help for cutting, but you don't want to add another issue to the list.
Perhaps you can talk to your therapist about getting high - whatever made you want to cut has not gone away. It's still there, and it's making you want to get high. Until you figure out what's going on, the symptoms aren't going to go away.
It's like trying to repaint a car with a broken engine (beware...cheesy metaphor coming!); think of your therapist as a mechanic. They can only do their job if you are open and honest.
And your friends aren't getting mad because they hate you. It's because they love and care about you, and don't want to see you hurting. You're lucky to have those sort of people around you.
Talk to them, talk to your therapist, and talk with yourself. Be honest about what you want and what's bothering you. Trust yourself - you have the answers you need, and you just might need a little help finding them.

okay well its wrong that your friend would encourage you to get high. but look fine, you did it once. leave it at that. dont do it again. its just gonna ruin you in the long run. im telling you LEAVE THAT SHIT ALONE.

dont get high anymore.. and if that girl requested getting high as a resort from cutting then she is def. not helping you out! she should know getting high is not the answer!! so just dont do it anymore and deal with your problems get help with the cutting and stop getting high.. hope i helped

well.. im sry.. but u should tell who ever is helping you with the cutting problem maybe they could help... they could probably anit-depressants? try getting those maybe.. but dont abuse them .. hope everything works out x3

this is imperitive that you stop this if you don't you could get addicted and as for the girl who knows I wouldn't talk to her anymore also if you are already addicted seek help if your friends aren't supportive of you when they find out then they weren't your friends

well if u know what you did was wrong and you dont want to do it again, then keep it secret and if anyone asks anything, just say yes you did it and you arent doing it ever again.. it was a mistake.. Or if you do want to do it again- well i dont know.. you shouldnt it is dangerous..

just tell them, and tell them how much you regret it and how immediately you thought of them and hurting their feelings and that you swear you'll never do it again. Its their opinion weither they cna forgive you.

OK listen i tell this 2 everyone who duz this, this a tru story bout my friends and pot:i com from a skool where alot of kids do drugs and drink and we're only 14. i have never tried it tho i have been offered it. a bunch of my friends r in drug rehab now and one them has lung cancer and the doctor sed he has until the end of september 2 live! ive nown him since kindergarten and now im gonna lose him. another one of my very good friends died earlier this year from smking pot. a month b4 that i tried 2 get him off it...i tried 2 help him....but he couldnt help himself...he was found by his parents in his room on the floor w/ foam comi out of his mouth and blood dripping down his face. he only did pot for 2 months!! SO PLZ 4 THE LOVE OF GOD DOONT DO DRUGS IT KILLS RELATIONSHIPS AND PEOPLE AND I HATE IT WEN PEOPLE WANNA TRY IT CUZ THEIR JUST GONNA END UP LIKE MY FRIENDS AND I CANT LET THAT HAPPEN!! so plz plz think of wat i have told u and remeber it every time u think of getting high

I think you should tell your friends how you did it ONCE because of the reason that girl said. Say you'd never ever do it agian...and then dont do it again.lol Cuz getting high is pretty dangerous also.Cutting and getting high,they can both kill you so they are BOTH wrong.
