How do you know that you're in love. I've liked this guy since the beginning of the school year and my friends think he likes me back. He's had several girlfriends but the "dating time" never really lasts long. Lately I've been thinking about him a lot and everytime a hear a song...I automatically think of him. What is love? And how do you know that you're in it?
To whom this concerns...many people wonder how to tell if one is in love..love is never sellfish, love is never conceited nor boastful, love is considerate and inexplicable, love has no interest in rewards or benefits of any sort, love is giving, love is comfort, love is praising and acknowledging, love is accepting-- without critisism, love is not jealous nor recentful, love is forgiving, love is sincere and truthful regardless of the reactions and surroundings, love is everlasting--even after death or part. If you seriously take a moment to ponder, everyone is sellfish in their own way, the day you place another person before yourself, (their wants and needs), that is love...the day another person's requests are not a challenge to your being and your actions are unconditional, that is love..the day your pride is no longer overwhelming and ego is not an issue, that is love..the day there are no longer any more fish in the sea, that is love..the day you would rather the opposing person's presence and company over anything else, that is love..the day you are in love , it will be something so rare, you will know..

When you can't fall asleep because your face hurts from smiling thinking about them, and other things like that. You know, butterflys in your belly, like your on a rollercoaster. Its a great feeling your one of the lucky ones if you think your in it. [ the_haha_boat's advice column | Ask the_haha_boat A Question ]

That has to be the single hardest question to answer, ever. It's different for every person, I think. I knew I was really in love when I actually said "I love you," and I hadn't meant to. It just kinda slipped out, but it felt right.
Love is technically just a bunch of confusing emotions and chemicals mixing in your brain.
I can picture myself with this guy forever, and he can, too. I can't picture myself ever breaking up with him, or being with anyone else. He's the guy I wanna be with for the rest of my life...that's love, to me.
It might be different to you, but you asked, so...Lol
If he likes you back, cool! Mutual crushes that turn into relationships are great.
I hope this helped!

I do have to say though that u kno ur in love when u wake up in the morning, and u think of him, and when u go to sleep at night, ur thinking of him, and when he feels the same way... tell that boy u love him... peace peace!
