my friend told me when you start to get abs you start to get a little 'box' or soemthing by ur belly button like a little pudge or something... can u tell me sum signs that running, sit ups, push ups, crunchies, lifting weights actually works!~
xaDvIcERsAiRx answered Saturday August 14 2004, 1:33 pm: the stomack around the ab area will start to tighten, and you may weigh more (dont get dicouraged it just means that your getting muscle, it weighs more than fat), you'll be a little more energetic, and eventually you'll start to feel some abs.

Basketball3846 answered Saturday August 14 2004, 10:46 am: Alrighty. Well a sign that you are getting abs or any mucscle in your body, is when your stomach becomes firmer. You don't get those "boxes" right of that back. It takes a while. But when you are lying down, push down on your stomach and see if it is feeling any tighter.
