i cut myself shaving on my bikini line and it doesn't wanna heal

Question Posted Thursday August 5 2004, 1:50 pm

a couple weeks ago i kinda nicked myself shaving on my bikini line, and it hasnt healed yet. i put neosporine on it and havent shaved over it since, but its kinda turned into a lil red bump .. and yesterday there was a lil tiny bit of puss coming out of it, like if you squeezed a zit. but less. has this ever happened to anyone else & what can i do to make it heal? thnx & i'll rate if you give a good answer =)

okay but .. is the puss normal?? or could that be a sign that its infected or an absyss or whatever ... that needs to be drained?.

I get razor bumps all the time, never have they gotten pussy though (sorry, no other way to spell that word lol) But my advice is to see if you can't use some sort of gentle face wash or facial cream on it. That, or hydrogen peroxide the little bastard to get all the gunk out of it and let it heal.

Apply Aloe on it and you will see a difference in a day or two. ;)

This hasn't happened to me but ik its not bad. Just keep putting neosporine on it and try not to shave over it until it gets better. Good luck!!

hi, yea it's happened to me before. But don't worry. It's nothing bad. It will go away time. Just dont touch it because it will just get even more irritated. xOox <33 cOrna

Hey anytime you have a razor irratation rub cortison cream on the bumps daily, and don't shave again until they are gone. (2-3 days) Good luck!!!!

Well, I've done that before many times. Its just an ingrown hair... but the only way to get rid of it is to fully leave it alone and let it heal by itself. Don't play with it, squeeze it, or shave on it (because that will make it worse.)

Hope this helped. Good luck
