Hot water does. because hot things freeze faster. Think, when you're hot, and you go into an air conditioned building, you get cold fast, right? And when you're cold, and you go into a colder place, you don't feel the impact instantly. Well, i did an experiment on it but yea LOL

cold.. because its already cold so it wont take that long to freeze but hot water has to turn cold and then freeze.. so cold has the advantage!!

Id definetly assume cold... heres my philosophy. When somethings frozen, its reallly really cold, if the waters already cold, it will take a shorter time to freeze, but hot water has to turn cold and then freeze, so the process must be longer.

Cold water would freeze faster because it has less of a temperature change to go through.

whattheHELLO1514 answered Monday August 2 2004, 10:22 pm:
cold water freezes faster because the molecules in the hydrogen and oxygen compound have already slowed down. Water freezes because the molecules have stopped moving and the friction between them has become less. ( friction between molecules causes warmth) so cold water freezes faster because it takes less time for the movement to stop.
