flirterchicky answered Friday July 30 2004, 10:44 pm: kay 2 put em in, try looking a lil 2 the side, but not 2 far.. make sure 2 put it on the colored part of your eye.. before putting it in, wipe off the finger ur putting it in with so its dry, and put a drop of solution into the concave part of the contact, that way, once the contact comes in contact (ha) w/ ur eye, itll stick 2 it~ 2 take em out, pull it with your finger 2 a lil lower than the colored part, then squeeze and pull str8 on outta there.. make sure if u have nails not 2 pinch ur eyeball lol ive done that a few times~ itll become more familiar 2 u as time goes by.. i always got sooo frustrated when i first got mine since it took 4ever 2 put em in, so jus chill ---> and always remember 2 wash your hands b4, and make sure alllll the soap is off, or else itll sting like craAzy! ttyl mE [ flirterchicky's advice column | Ask flirterchicky A Question ]
BabiiBubbles answered Friday July 30 2004, 1:02 pm: In order to put them on try looking up and then put the contact below your eye a little, then roll your eye down so it slides onto your eye. To take them off sort of pinch the two sides together and pull it off. It takes awhile to get used to, because the feeling is so weird.
tinabina answered Friday July 30 2004, 12:33 am: I recently got contacts last october. I couldnt have the eye doctor put them in, it took me about and hour to put in 1. My advice first relax use one finger to hold your eyelid open and tilt yur head back place and the contact on your eye. Make sure you properly clean them and look to check if they are the right way. (the numbers should say 123 when you hold it up) to take them out look in a mirror and focus on one thing. use your finger either rub it away from your pupil and down to you lower eyelid till it folds(thats what i do) or th tell you to gently pinch it and lift off. it took me a long tim, but i can easly get them on and off in about 1 min. be sure to take good care of them and change them about every 2 weeks if they are disposable. if you have any more questions feel free to send them to me, ill be gglad to help.
hope it helps
tinkerbell answered Thursday July 29 2004, 11:46 pm: Contacts get easier as time goes on. It takes awhile to get the hang of them. If you have a really, really hard time you can go back to your optomotrist or wherever you got them and ask for instructions or explain the problem and maybe get a different brand. Just give it time though is the best thing I could say. [ tinkerbell's advice column | Ask tinkerbell A Question ]
soljette answered Thursday July 29 2004, 11:23 pm: the people at the place should have taught you how to put in contacts before you buy them. all you do is put the contact on the tip of your finger, use the other hand to open your eyes lid and just put it in. itll feel uncomfortable, so once u get it in, look down with your eyes closed for a couple seconds, then open. it should be fine. isnt that hard. just make sure the contact is clean before putting it in. WiLLJaYnAlExSbAbY answered Thursday July 29 2004, 11:02 pm: Wash your hands really well and make your eyes really big and just very gently and soft pinch the lens... it sometimes helps to look up for some ppl, and just get a hold on it and take it out and clean if really well, don't worry I've had them since 4th grade you get used to em! :) HOPE I HELPED!
