I need help. I use to be bestfriends with this girl. We hung out almost every single day all the time last year and most of this year. Now that summer has come she works till 10 on the weekdays and on the weekends she goes away, I'm not allowed to go away with her from ym parents. Next yera we are goin away to different colleges not even close to each other. She always tries to make me feel bad for hanging out with my boyfriend and not her but she works till 10 everyday. What should I do?

Um.. she doesnt sound like too great a friend. But anyway.. I would try talking to her on the phone alot... maybe you guys can draw close that way. Or.. try to hang out with some other friends. Because your best friend really has a busy schedule! You know?

there's not much u can do. if you ask..maybe she would start getting a day off every once in a while. or, when she gets off at ten.. get some other friends and her n go to the movies or something..its not too late for that! dont waste ur summer worrying about this.. u can hang out with ur bf n other friends while shes at work..does she want u to be a hermit? have fun! its ur summer! i hoped i helped =)

well, have you told her that you find it very difficult to hang around with her, so your only option is your b/f? She needs to understand that any kind of relationship, be it romantic or platonic, needs to be maintained by both parties.
Maybe you can see if she can get even a day of work, so you two can hang around :)

Don't buy into her crap about feeling bad about seeing your boyfriend. Tell her straight up that shes working all the time and she acts as though she has no time for you. Don't let her take you on some bullshit guilt trip.
