im going to b a freshman in high school and i was wonderin if anyone could tell me what homecoming is like. do u have to get all fancy or wut? i have never heard about it b4 so im kinda nervous. also r there like sadie hawkins dances?(where the girl asks the boy) im just wonderin. thanx!

oo WOW high school ... freshman ... ok at our school we call freshman fresh meat! haha but thats not so much a bad thing trust me ... homecoming is prolly the best time of the year ,, lost of fun .. alwayz something going on .. mostly theyll have days where u dress up and act a fool .. its nothing to be scared about .. high school is all about getting ready to go out into the big world and have fun doing it .. im sure your parents or whatnot are telling you "these are your last years study hard and get good grades.. blah blah" yea thats true that should alwayz be #1 but just make sure u have fun !! youll never get that chance again to be in high school living the high life ... and about the dances some schools have them some dont but most of them a guys ask girls ... its easy that way...

No,it's not that fancy. It's not like prom. Dress as you would normally dress for church. If you don't go to church,wear a nice dress. There was no Sadie Hawkins dance at my school. There was Homecoming and Prom and that was it. They both suck anyway,don't go to either one.

homecoming is fun! At our school it is a formal dance, so yes, you get all fancy :). Most schools do have sadies ;)

Yes, you have to dress up in a blazer/tie and wear a corsage. But its not bad, you dont even have to stay the whole time. Prom is a MUCH bigger deal than Homecoming. At my school there was Sadie Hawkins dances, but they werent too popular.

Homecoming is kind of like a prom, but a little bit less formal. You don't have to get all dressed up in your best lokking jewelry or in the best looking dress, but you can't wear jeans with a cute shirt either. You can wear a cute dress with some jewelry and cute shoes. Also do something with your hair. You don't want to leave it down or have it up in a regular pony hair. The guy buys you a corsage and it's so cute. Don't be nervous. It is so much fun, seriously. You are going to have the time of your life. There are also sadie hawkins dances, but I haven't been to one yet. I heard that it is nothign fancy at all. Just wear a nice long skirt with a cute top and you are set. Just ask me if you need more.

homecoming isn't always a dance, we don't have a homecoming dance at my highschool. we just have spirt week where they have certain days (ex. farmer day, pj day, hawaiian day) then on friday we have the pep rally before the homecoming football game friday night, and all throughout the weekend there are homecoming games like saturday night is the soccer game! it's really fun!! but i'm not sure how your school does it so you'll have to ask people from your school!!

Homecoming is a formal dance that you get dressed up and get a date. It's really fun to shop for and you get to get your hair done and if you want you can get your nails done and all. The Sadie Hawkins dances really actually depend. When I went to high school we had those dances but I'm not sure if your school holds those or not. I hope this helps and have fun!! :-D

homecomings rock u do get dressed up and usualy there are dances and they rock and theirs a football game and that rocks and theres big rocks and they rock? ok that was too far but ya its soo fun its not for a while tho so u got time to plan. :)

Alright, homecoming, is a little fancy... you definatly are going to have to get dressed up, alot of girls get their hair done ect.. it's alot of fun though, you'll alot of the times go out to eat before the dance with your date/friends ect. And then Sadie Hawkins dance is very casual, you dress up like your mate, and you get to choose what to wear, that doesn't have to be fancy at all, but it's cool when it's creative. And yes, you ask the boy... you pay, you choose the clothes ect..
