TOUNG PIERCING
k my mom let me get my belly pierced in june and shes still hidin it frum my dad bc he sed no....i already hav 4 in each ear and i wanna get my tongue done s0o0 bad!! my mom already sed no more piercings...but i want it reallllll bad...im thinking of goin behind her back and doing it...but HOW SHOULD I HIDE IT?/ any ideas??? does it hurt?? how much does it cost?? does ne 1 no ne where they will pierce it with a parent there??? PLZ HELP!!!

You might be able to hide it from her for a few days but sooner or later shell end up findin out im sure. It hurt me a lil but def. not bad youll be fine! Theres really no way to hide it untill your able to change your tongue ring its like a tongue retainer its plastic and clear i use it for cheerleading and no one even knos i have it in.My tongue was about $25 including the jewlery just make sure you get it done at a safe clean place!Good Luck!

It's really not a good idea to go behind her back and do that.Plus no reputable place will pierce an underage person w/o parental consent and a parent being present.I had it done 3 different times(once then took it out,once again and took it out again,then once more and kept it for several months).It really doesn't hurt too bad.It's very quick.Mine cost $50,but I'm sure it varies from place to place!It will be a little sore for a few days afterward,and your tongue will swell up,which makes it very hard to hide!!!I can tell ya all the things to clean it and to do for pain,but I think you should talk it over with your mom.It's a very bad idea to do something like go behind her back.You'll lose your moms trust and that's never good!! :) If she agrees,write me back and I'll tell ya what to be prepared for and what all to look out for and do!!! :)

umm you CAN do it but is it really a good idea to be risking loosing all your moms trust? And how will you hide it from your dad? You already have 1 thing to hide from him. My advice is NO dont do it.. your mother said no for a reason... and you are best to stand by that reason.

theres a movie called Thirteen nd one of the younqer qirls qet`s her tonque pierced , and she hid it by talkin just enuff so nobody could see her tonque. There`s places in New York City that will do it without a adult if that is anywhere near you. it will probably cost somewhere between 60 and 90

No it doesn't hurt. Well, it's different for different people. I wouldnt' suggest going to get it done without a parent, unless your above 18. If you find a place that will do it for you illegally, without a parent, then it's not going to be a very respectful place. They might not be very clean, they could hit a vien and make your face go numb, or they could just mess up the piercing badly and get it infected. It's just not a good idea.
My only advice is to research about piercings. If you know about what your getting yourself into, and show that your responsible and show that it's not a bad thing to have piercings, then maybe you can sway your parents, or at least your mothers decision. I don't know if there's a way to hide it. I used to have a red tongue ring that blended in, but there were still some people who noticed it just from everyday talking. And for the first week or so, you wont be able to eat anything except liquids, and you'll have a lisp. So it's not a good idea to get it done if you are going to have to hide it.

I dont think you should do it and hide it from her just in case it gets infected and you need to go to a doctor. Im sure it must hurt really bad becuase, I meen, its your tongue! Plus if your tongue swells up after they peirce it that would be hard to hide becuase you would talk funny. I would say tongue peircings would be very hard to hide.

Best thing to do is wait until your 18. You dont want to go behind your parents back, blah blah... But seriously, you dont want to lose your parent's trust for you. It sucks major. The pain of losing their trust will be there long after the pain of the piercing has gone away. Just try talking to your mom, tell her how you feel about it. Maybe you can do something for her to change her mind. If not, just wait.. its not that bad.
