Pink_Flamingo answered Wednesday July 21 2004, 2:31 pm: Maybe you could try an instrament? If you want to sing/ write songs you have to know how to read music. I would suggest studying some music and learning basic notes. [ Pink_Flamingo's advice column | Ask Pink_Flamingo A Question ]
storageanddisposal answered Wednesday July 21 2004, 2:08 pm: I do the lead vocals for my band, and I usually write about what I'm passionate about. For some, it's political songs, for others it's more personal. Write about what bothers you. Ending a song isn't like ending a story. You can end a song wherever you want. DruidX answered Wednesday July 21 2004, 2:05 pm: Songs are like poems; the best ones come from the heart. Songs usually benifit from a strong rythum and ryhme. As for coming up with ideas, well, there are ideas all around you, in the news, in your heart, what's going on with your mates etc. Maybe you could start of by writing about how your disabilities affect you, your life and the people around you.
As for your voice, maybe training would help.
