Yes, it is perfectly fine - at least to me it is... now, I also know some guys who would be totlaly freaked out by a girl asking them out. There is no universal "yes" or "no" to this. It really depends on the guy.

Hey... I am a 13 year old male and all guys think different but I don't think any guy minds for a girl to ask him out. Some guys are shy... some guys are scared of rejection... and some guys never ask a girl out, they feel "cooler" when they get asked out. I myself... i am not any of those. I will ask a girl out and I like when she asks me out to. I think its actually very atractive, because it shows that ur strong and independant. U don't depend on someone else. But this is all ruined if u have ur friend ask him out... do it to his face. If he rejects u then just say "Thats ok" and walk away gracefully. Don't make a scene! Its a big turn off... because if u give him time he might change his mind.
