finding a job
does anyone have any good ideas for a good job that i could have. im 13/f. i would really like to have a job.

im fifteen and in NJ its apparently illeagal to work.. jsut wait a while enjoy the "younger" years it will come but if u really really want one if u ask a family member with a buisness they are allowed to higher family underage or work under the table offer to old ladies in your community to mow their lawn or help with house work .. they will appriciate it and most old ladies make really good cookies and cakes!

I think that you have to be 14 to have a job, unless maybe you know someone who owns the place, but maybe try babysitting and stuff like that!

It's sort of hard to find a job at 13. I think your best bet would be a babysitting job. Make some flyers for yourself and post them at the grocery store. With a little luck you'll be racking in the dough. Good luck hunny!

Well, you're still a little young for a job AND get paid for it, but I'm sure we can think of some exceptions, hehe!! If your mom or dad work for some place that needs like a secretary of any kind to answer the phones and stuff like that, you should start off doing that making maybe .. 4 to 5 dollars and hour!! That's what I had to do when I was 13 cause the lowest places hire now a days are 15 to 16. Hope that helps!!

Well...I know I wanted a job when I was 13. It's a law that a 13 year old can't work. But maybe you could do some chores around the house to make some extra money. When I turned 14 though I worked for a pet groomer. I was a bather(washer) and after a while I learned how to groom some of the dogs, maybe if you told me what you were into, I could help ya out. Unfortunately, 13 year-olds are too young to get a job. However, for some quick cash, you could try babysitting. Or mowing lawns -- you can get $30.00 bucks a pop with that! Goodluck!
