Question Posted Sunday July 18 2004, 12:52 pm

I've got the hots for a guy named (lets just call him Bob) Bob. He seems like the perfect guy when we talk online, but when we meet in person he acts really shy. I'm pretty sure he likes me too, and we're both 15 if that helps. Why do u think he acts so different online than in person, and do u think he's worth my time?

i think he acts differnt because it MUCHHHH easier to express yourself online..like all these ppl giving you advise are random people..imagine some random person from the streets asking you about their love life haha yah get it..once to guys meet face to face im sure he'll open up a bit

He may like you, but he might be the guy who gets really shy when he talks to girls he likes. When you two are talking on the internet, just be like "How come you're so shy when we meet face-to-face?" And then if you want you can tell him that you like him and just be like "And I also like you and I just want to know if you like me too?" Just tell him how you feel and ask what you can do that won't make him so shy when you two meet face-to-face again. Hope this helps and good luck!

I know exactly what you mean!! It's normal for someone to act completely different online than in person. I'm sure he's worth your time if he seems like a good guy, but let him know that he's safe when he's with you and no matter what you'll love him, so tell him to just open up some in person and be his self!!

He probably is afraid that if he does something in front of you and feels like a loser or something he cant cover it up with a just kidding or sound sarcastic about it...

everybody (girl or guy) acts different online then they do in person!!!! it is also easier for people to say things online then it is in person so maybe he just feels shy to talk or he keeps thinking about thing yall have talked about and is kind of timid and feels he cant act himself....he could also be shy because he might have the hotts for you too!!!
