ok,. SO i had this surprise birthday pool party for my best friend last night,. everyone was there, i'm 17 .My best friend ( the one i was havin the party for) asked if she could invite 2 19 year olds,. i said yea that fine.. so she did,. and they came , it was great,. until she left like 20 mins later to go Drinkin with her 2 new friends.. I talked to her bout it today,. she said dont worry bout it n that she would get her presents later,. i was like.. pshh friends. yea ryte,. and hung up.. i'm sp pissed at her now! - but i really do still wanna be friends,.. becuz we have been since kindergarden,.. and i cant throw it away over 1 mistake can i??? please help!

She probably just wanted to REALLY party on her birthday and wasnt thinking, dont throw a friendship away over something silly like that, just talk to her about it

do NOT throw away your friendship over something so small! talk about it! there's prolly a reasonable explaination!!! i repeat do NOT throw out a friendship that has been going on for that long! work it out! good luck!

No, you can't "throw it away over 1 mistake" -- that's not right. People learn by trial and error, maybe she's learned a lesson. That WAS a pretty rotten thing for her to do.. leaving her own party. It was really sweet of you to have that for her, I'm sorrie she didn't show more appreciation. Hopefully things will turn out right. Just don't be so quick to judge.. she's young, and she'll make mistakes. I hope this helps, Hun!
