Is it normal to have to change your pad every 45 min., because lately I've been having to change it about every 45 min., and like my whole pad is covered in blood,(sorry this is really gross!!), am i bleeding a little bit too much?? Is there any way that i can like, slow my flow down because lately, ive been having to wear 3 maxi pads to bed...but anyways...is this normal??
KoTaKiTtAy44 answered Wednesday July 7 2004, 1:51 am: you usually shouldnt have to change them that often...but some peoples flows are just heavier than others..but i think that you should tell your parents or a doctor or something to see if that is normal..because you shouldnt have to change it every 45 min! *hope i helped

Ashley answered Wednesday July 7 2004, 12:35 am: Yes, Actually this is normal! Everyone is different! You still need to talk to your mom about seeing a doctor for just in case. They may need to put you on birth control. I have to change mine like every 45 min too! [ Ashley's advice column | Ask Ashley A Question ]

xOCarrie answered Tuesday July 6 2004, 11:34 pm: No it is completely normal, but i highly recomend wearing tampon`s, it take`s a lot longer to "fill up" and you only have to change it every 4-8 hours.
Siren_Cytherea answered Tuesday July 6 2004, 10:45 pm: You might want to talk to a doctor. I don't think you're supposed to be bleeding THAT much. I can understand changing your pad every 2 hours, but 45 minutes kinda scares me. Hope I helped!
