HI Im a 14 year old girl and i told a guy I liked him right before graduation. we aren't very good friends but a friend of mine told me "he didnt want to ruin the friendship" and im pretty sure that is just an easy term for the words "i don't like you" but then at the dance two days after my friend told me the news he wouldn't stop convienently running into me and kept walking up to me like he wanted to dance but then would just say something sweet and walk away then he asked me to dance and kissed my hand. Was he just being sweet? Do I have a chance with this guy in high school? Is there a chance that he is thinking about me? And if so in a good way? My friend who asked him if he liked me keeps telling me that he doesn't like me and i should get over him....

If he kissed your hand and asked you to dance, he must be serious. And why would he be doing all that for a sweet gesture? i hope things work out for the best. Thanx, bye! L0VELLE answered Friday July 2 2004, 10:49 pm: well if the guy goes out of his way to bump into you "on accident" there must be soemthing there...if he genuinely cares for you and likes you then you definitely have a chance with him in high school..it's never too good to listen to what other people say because they could be giving you false information, sometimes for their own benefit, even friends do this...so i would stick to what the guy says and waht comes out of his mouth...if he's shy- try to get him to open up by hanging out over the summer and see where things go from there...if there's nothing there, you'll know- and you can't really force anything...but if there is, you'll know and things will be great- good luck girl! =]
