FernGully answered Sunday June 27 2004, 11:08 pm: Ah yes, the boob struggle. Been there, still doing that. I've learned to be proud of the small amount I have. For a long time I wore water bras, which are not padded, but have gel inserts. I guess its for a more breast-ish feeling? Apparently they stunt growth though if you are very young, such as 12. So you might not want to use them for a few more years.
At 17, I'm still growing, just not a lot. The crappy thing is, nothing might cause your boobs to grow. You will have to deal with whatever your given. I heard that massaging them apparently enhances some growth but... I don't know if you're willing to do that. Maybe in a couple years, if you're still unhappy, then I'd consider either an air lift bra or a water bra. Also, if you're going to decide on a push up bra, don't get one that causes a drastic change over the weekend - people tend to notice. If you're concerned about that that is.
As you're only 12, I wouldn't worry toooo much about this just yet, there is still plenty of time to grow naturally, and hey you might end up wanting less some day. [ FernGully's advice column | Ask FernGully A Question ]
xo_dream answered Sunday June 27 2004, 9:48 pm: Pushups can increase the size of the muscles underneath + around your breasts, and so .. yeah, I suppose they could make you look bigger. But gosh, you're 12, it really doesn't matter! I guess if you really want to, you could get a padded / gel / water bra, but it's going to seem really odd if you wear a padded one one day and a non-padded one the next day.
GoDdeSsOfEveRyThInG answered Sunday June 27 2004, 9:46 pm: Pushup bra's dont make them grow it makes them look bigger, it grabs everything and pushes it up making it appear bigger. Milk doesnt make your boobs grow either. Thats a rumor. I would go with water or gel cupped bras, like a 32A gel bra. Or just a normal padded bra! Go to a department store and look for yourself! Good luck!
LykViolencUhavMe answered Sunday June 27 2004, 9:38 pm: there are rumors that milk does, yes, but im not completely sure if its true. i do know that chicken helps because of the female hormones in it. so eat lots of chicken... and yes of course pushup bras help lol but i find them degrating. MFS answered Sunday June 27 2004, 9:31 pm: milk and pushups do nothing of the sort... if you really want the fast path to big boobs, pregnancy will help out..
Breasts continue to grow well into your 20s. Breast size is not something you should worry about.
(since you clearly didn't get the fact that the pregnancy comment was a joke, hey, guess what, it was a joke - a fact, but a joke none the less)
p.s. - go read some of the other questions form the many girls who have complained about their breast size... you'll see the same advice given over and over again. [ MFS's advice column | Ask MFS A Question ]
