I use to have that problem, what I did was put something on it that has a taste you wont like on everyone of my fingers, like hot sauce, or nail polish remover, or vinigar. Something of that statis. Vinigar will work well because it will leave a taste in your mouth which will help you learn not to bite your nail or you will get that taste if you do bite them.

i used to have that problem too...just not that badly... i stopped by putting a dab of finger nail polish remover on every finger... if you bite them you will get a terrable taste in you mouth for the rest of the day and you wont forget it pretty soon you will stop biting. ]
aww..well i heard of this nail polish u put on ur nails that taste really nasty..u should buy it so that when u bit ur nails u taste it and u dont wanna do it anymore..or maybe just have a friend or family memeber to tell u to stop every time they notice ur doing it.. ]
I have the same problem! I bite mine when I'm really bored in class, or when I'm anxious about something. A good way to stop biting your nails is to paint them. That way everytime you bite them, you get a nasty taste in your mouth from the nail polish that will definately leave you not wanting to taste again! ]
try wearing gloves when you're home alone. That way you get out of the habit of biting your nails normally, and when you go out you won't be so inclined to bite. ]
I had a terrible nail biting addiction until I got braces, I can't bite them anymore because I'm paranoid I might break a bracket. I have an idea for you that might help though, Go in your fridge and look for some sauce that you don't like (Worcestershire, Mustard, Ranch Dressing, etc..) put some on your nails, maybe that'll help you stop, or you could try going out and getting a manicure, and then why pay money, it's too pretty to ruin, well that's all.

this is wut a friend of mine did,
her mom bought her this special nail polish that tastes disgusting, and i think it mite actually be used to brake the habbit
every time you go to bit your nails u'll taste the polish and not want to (the polish is clear)
or u can do this rubberband theory where u put a rubberband or ponytail holder around ur wrist, ]
I used to do the same, until the skin died and they turned purple. That scared me out of ever biting them again. Try to force yourself to develop other nervous habits ]
Wear a rubberband around your wrist and everyime you go to bite your nails, snap it. Amd to help you remember tell the people in your house and your friends around you, if they catch you biting or about to bite, snap your rubberband. Trust you won't want to bite, you'll be tired of being snapped. Good Luck! :)

Cut ur nails with a nail clipper! ]
You shouldn't bite your nails so much they bleed because it can get infected or hurt the growth of your nails. The best option is to use a special nail polish that tastes TERRIBLE! It will definitly keep you from picking at your nails. You can buy it at Sally Beauty! Good luck!!
